There is a little Mexican Cantina in Southern California where the red eye
of el Chupacabra is seen repeatedly.
el Chupacabra is a wild blend of 5 liquors and tropical fruit juices that
"bites" patrons so passionately that there is a limit of 2 per person per
visit.
The eye of el Chupacabra is a lime hull filled with Puerto Rican rum with
a spash of the "blood" of its last vicitim...the famous,"rojo ojo de el
Chupacabra".
el Chupacabra is the star attraction of any dark place you might enter.
This drink takes its name from the mythical el chupacabra monster. It was invented by Jon Schnitter.
El chupacabra may variously be:
El Chupacabra Shot is a shot served with Tequila and Tabasco sauce. (Some places substitute the Tabasco with chilled Jagermeister).
El Chupacabra Verde is served with a dose of green pepper sauce. The Chupacabra Amarillo is served with yellow pepper sauce.
Ingredients:
1 part Vodka, apple
2 parts Sour Mix
2 pieces Cherries/Maraschinos
4 cubes Ice
Mixing Instructions:
Mix vodka, sour mix, and ice in shaker. Strain over ice in old fashioned glass. Garnish with cherries.
